GFKL again chosen as Top Employer
- GFKL awarded seal of quality for third time in a row
- Special mention given to good development opportunities and job security

GFKL Financial Services AG from Essen has been awarded the “Top Employer” seal of quality for the third time in a row. The award was given by the Handelsblatt publishing group’s journal “Junge Karriere” and the CRF International Corporate research institution.
GFKL again scored top grades in the categories “Development Opportunities” and “Job Security”. Not surprising: last year, GFKL created more than 100 new jobs and offered positions to more than 64 trainees. The company now employs more than 2,600 personnel in all. In 2007, GFKL invested about one million euros in further professional training for its staff. Newcomers, personnel who have already gained initial experience and experts with years of experience can all benefit from the variety of development opportunities within the Group. These range from a trainee program to a wide variety of seminars offered by the Group’s own competence center. At the same time, the corporate culture, which relies on the recognition of opportunities, the assumption of responsibility and on open communication, supports the development and promotion of opportunities within the Group.
The quality and professionalism of the work environment is acknowledged by another seal of quality: at the beginning of the year, the rating agency Standard & Poor’s again raised GFKL’s servicer rating. The classification of its servicer competence in the debt collection area as “Strong, Outlook Stable” means that the GFKL Group is now one of the three best-rated companies in Europe.
Due to its growth, GFKL again intends to recruit numerous new staff this year. Therefore the demand for specialists, trained personnel and potential management staff such as team leaders will continue to be strong. This is demonstrated by the approximately 50 job vacancies currently offered by the GFKL Group (further information under www.gfkl.com/jobs2008).
