GFKL receives seal of quality as top employer 2007

• Attractiveness as employer evaluated according to 14 criteria
• 40 new jobs created at Essen site in the last twelve months
• 74 apprentices in the GFKL Group; sales trainee program

Essen, March 13, 2007 The Geva Institute in Munich and “Karriere“ magazine have awarded GFKL Financial Services AG the seal of quality Top Employer 2007. As one of 85 companies in Germany, GFKL received the award for the second time since 2006 on the basis of an assessment carried out according to 14 criteria in six categories.
The judges identified the company’s personnel development, work climate, company culture, employee satisfaction, performance orientation, job security and leading market position as particular strengths.
Due to the consistently positive course of business over the years, the number of personnel employed by GFKL has increased continually. In the last twelve months alone, the company recruited 40 new employees at the Essen site. The number of personnel employed by the Group throughout Germany rose from approximately 1,900 to 2,400 over the same period, also due to acquisitions.
GFKL is particularly committed to training and professional development. The corporation is currently training 74 young people in management and IT professions. There is also a special trainee program for future sales staff in the leasing division. Over a period of 18 months, trainees learn all facets of sales activity by participating in internal and external seminars and working in the sales office and field service.
