GFKL Financial Services AG is a holding company with several operational subsidiaries. The Group is organized into the following business divisions:
Credit division
As one of Germany’s leading bank and manufacturer-independent leasing companies, the GFKL Group offers customized financing products in the small-ticket, mid-ticket and project finance segments. Here the company has a widely diversified, reasonably priced refinancing basis facilitating correspondingly attractive conditions. Based on its strong competitive position in Germany, GFKL is accelerating its expansion into Europe under the family brand “Universal Leasing”. GFKL is already active in the Benelux countries and England. Our medium-term goal is to achieve a prominent market position in the European market. The range of products on offer is rounded off by a wide variety of factoring products.
Collection division
With more than 900 personnel in the collection division and a volume of receivables serviced amounting Euro 12.4 billion, the GFKL Group is one of the four largest collection service providers in Germany. Having started business in this sector in 1998, the company’s collection services cover the trustee administration and collection of receivables with payment irregularities as well as the assessment and purchase of such receivables. Here GFKL is active in four segments: real estate loans including the realization of securities, consumer credit, receivables from bulk business with small items, and current receivables from commerce, trade and industry. In 2004, GFKL was the first company in Germany to receive a servicer rating from Standard & Poor’s. In 2008, GFKL has been awarded the highest possible servicer rating by Standard & Poor’s. The rating “Strong, Outlook Stable” makes GFKL one of the three best-rated companies in Europe.
Software division
The products offered by the GFKL Group in this segment cover software applications for the loan and receivables management of banks and savings banks as well as basic software supporting all the important business processes in insurance companies. The product portfolio is rounded off by applications for the extrajudicial and judicial dunning procedures of major creditors and medium-sized companies, and solutions for the enforcement proceedings of public bodies.
